Hello and welcome to my website.
I'm Mark Pritchard, 23 years old, now living in Nottingham, UK. I have recently moved here from Stanley, County Durham, UK.

I have always been interested in photography and enjoyed taking photos. I like to always have a camera with me wherever I go. My interested became stronger when I got my first 3MP digital camera at the age of 12 and I could take as many photos as I liked, and experiment a lot more. I now have a Canon EOS 450D as my main camera, with a wide angle lens and some filters.

A lot of my photos are from family holidays and day trips to Scotland and the Lake District. I also get out and about in the North East but not as much as I should, there's a lot of amazing places up here that I haven't been to yet.
I have an interest in weather, especially anything dramatic, dangerous or out of the ordinary. This interest has taken me to the USA in 2009, 2010 and 2011 to chase the biggest storms on earth, which was amazing, see the Storm Chasing gallery for some photos.
